标准断面的桥枕容许刻不大于 30mm的槽口 ( 也可不刻 ) ,宽度比上盖板宽约 4mm,以利安装。如卡得过紧,在松动桥枕时会使桥枕沿刻槽底面脱裂。在遇铆钉头时应再刻纵槽,其大小及深度为钉头尺寸加 4mm。如设置钢梁上拱度时或板梁上盖板层数变化较多, 桥枕刻槽超过 30mm时,可使用部分比标准断面稍厚的桥枕,也可以在桥枕下嵌入一块厚度不小于 30mm的木垫板用木螺钉或螺栓联结牢固,在其下再行刻槽。
